Power & Resistance: Overview

Welcome to Power and Resistance. This course is an examination of the dynamic interplay of power and resistance in the context of culture and literature. Specifically, we examine the ways in which individuals and groups construct, preserve, and challenge power. Using both traditional and contemporary fiction, as well as critical perspectives, we learn to read closely. We also learn to shift our critical gaze out to our current social world.

Useful databases
